Philosophy and Pedagogy

Marina Greens PlaySchool is owned by a fully qualified Preschool Teacher. May has been trained and cultured on Early Childhood Education and has made teaching preschool aged children and serving the community her highest priority. Along with May, MG PlaySchool is staffed by two assistants daily.

MG PlaySchool is licensed as a Large Family Child Care Home with a maximum of 14 children and an assistant. All tuition includes Breakfast, Lunch, 3 snacks, diapers, wipes, sheets and blankets.

All staff are CPR and First Aid certified and fully vaccinated. All adults in the home as well as employees have had criminal background clearance (with no exemptions) and have had TB testing.

MG PlaySchool follows a mixed pot of curriculum including Montessori and Emergent style learning. Children are first at this school so although we have a daily schedule, the children’s needs and interests are heavily considered and often sway the course of the day. We offer preschool style learning for your child in a safe, home environment. Our school is much more than daycare while you work. We incorporate academic enhancement, an understanding of community, and exposure to different cultures

Children in diapers are supported when ready to transition to potty training. We will happily supply all diapers and wipes for children until such time as they are ready.
